Home prices are still on the rise if you live in San Tan Valley. The median sold home price increased for the 4th month in a row rising $2,250 in the month of June. In Queen Creek the median sold home price dipped over $4,000. Other cities like Gilbert and Mesa saw increases in home prices only after several flat months. Overall the market looks fairly strong with signs of slowing down in the next few months.
In San Tan Valley the inventory of homes for sale has decreased which usually means further home price increases. But in the past the market slows down at the start of a new school year and continues through the holiday season. So if history repeats itself like it has for the last two years, then the inventory of homes may start to increase again until Spring time.
If you are thinking about selling a home in San Tan Valley, this may be a good time to get the maximum price for your home before the inventory creeps up. The negative side of listing now is you may need to wait longer than usual for the right buyer. If you are looking to sell fast and with less headache then you may want to wait until Spring (historically speaking).
